CHOCOLATE FONDUE


Melted chocolate with bits of fruit or cake make for the Swiss dessert.

Method

  • Combine bittersweet chocolate and milk chocolate in a shallow glass bowl and microwave on high power for 2 – 3 minutes. Stir to mix properly.
  • In another glass bowl, pour the cream and microwave on medium power for 4 minutes in microwave Oven.
  • Add cream to the chocolate and whisk until smooth.
  • Whisk in the Amaretto \ brandy \ rum (if using) and serve hot with pieces of fruits or small pieces of cake..

175 gms bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped
125 gms milk chocolate, finely chopped
175 ml whipping cream
2 tbsp Amaretto, brandy or rum (optional) exotic fruits / fruit cake (optional)
